We realize that going to the dentist can be a scary experience, so we strive to keep the environment calm, friendly and inviting. We will work at your child's pace, take breaks if they get overwhelmed, and explain each step of the process.

Your Child's First Visit

Infants should be seen by a dentist after they reach six months of age, or at least by their first birthday. By this time, the baby's first teeth, or primary teeth, are beginning to erupt and it is critical that a dentist checks for any problems.

Preventive Dental Hygiene

Visiting the dentist for regular exams and cleanings while your child is still young will help preserve their primary teeth until they are ready to fall out and be replaced by permanent teeth. During each appointment, our Pierrefonds dentists will review proper oral hygiene techniques to ensure your child's smile is getting the proper care at home.

Restorative Dental Services

If your child is at risk of tooth decay, develops a cavity, or is experiencing misalignment issues, your dentist may also recommend restorative treatments.
